Learning how to target the right audience can be a real challenge for many business owners.
You want to make sure to target the right people so your marketing techniques don't go to waste. You want the most out of your paid ads, email campaigns, blogging, and sharing posts. The purpose of your marketing is to convert those numbers into sales. The more web traffic comes into your website the more convinced your audience will be of your product or service. Now, in order to get the right audience, you have to plan what group of people are you trying to sell to. Who is typically going to be the biggest buyers?



For example, if I am trying to sell urban shirts like the following:


I wouldn't be able to tag the older crowd or English spoken crowd. I would want to direct my marketing strategies to the younger Spanish crowd. This only makes sense since the language and the attire is for a much more younger and Spanish spoken crowd.  The demographics have lots to do when you are trying to sell, because the area that you market in, will be the area that wants to buy most of your products. For example, the same brand Bella-Dona is sold throughout the nation but does it makes sense to advertise the most where you know the product will sell because of the culture and diversity of the area. So how do you market in specific areas?

Easy, your social media platforms will give you the chance to pick and choose your targeted audience. It does not matter if you don't have an army of followers on Instagram (IG) or Facebook (FB)  all you need is are good ads and the right audience.
